Ways to Connect with a Counselor

Current 赌钱app可以微信提现 Students may schedule their appointments through our online appointment scheduling software. There are two options: On-Campus Appointments and Virtual Appointments.
Prospective or inactive students: please call 913-469-3809 to schedule an appointment.
Canceling Appointments: If you scheduled online, there is a link in your confirmation email to cancel, or call to cancel: 913-469-3809
- Once you have scheduled your appointment, you will receive an email confirmation with your appointment date and time — to your 赌钱app可以微信提现 stumail if you are a current student, or your personal email if you are a prospective student.
- Face-to-Face Appointments: Show up on time. Check in on the second floor of the Student Center.
- Virtual Appointments: Zoom will need to be downloaded on your device. For the link to join Zoom, please check your 赌钱app可以微信提现 stumail account if you are a current student, or your personal email if you are a prospective student. Please make sure you are in a quiet/private location.

- Questions about withdrawing
- Questions about pass/fail
- Course overload requests
Expectations:
- Emails will be answered in one to two business days.

Expectations:
- Wait times will vary
- Walk-ins are first come, first served
- You cannot request to see a specific counselor during walk-ins
- If you are in a time crunch, it may be best to make an appointment

- Keep your email open and accessible during your session. Should any technical issues arise, a Counselor will contact you via email with instructions or updates.
Appointment Requirements

- Complete your admissions checklist and if you are a new student, attend New Student Orientation
- Complete any required assessment tests
- Request your official transcripts/ACT/AP/CLEP scores be sent to 赌钱app可以微信提现
- Be familiar with selective admissions program requirements such as Nursing, Dental Hygiene, Chef Apprenticeship etc., please review the selective admissions web page
- Start your class planning in Plan My Classes
To make sure the time spent with a counselor is helpful, write down a list of questions to bring with you.
- Planning on earning a degree from 赌钱app可以微信提现? Print your DegreeCheck Audit. If your degree doesn’t appear on the first page of the audit, use the “What If” option to check status.
- Transferring to 赌钱app可以微信提现 from another college or university? If we do not have your transcripts on file, bring an unofficial copy so the counselor has all of your academic information.
- Transferring from 赌钱app可以微信提现 to another college or university? If there is a transfer guide to your school of choice, download the guide and bring it with you.
- If you previously met with a counselor to create an educational plan, or if you're interested in taking certain classes, bring the plan and class list with you.
Etiquette and Expectations
Please be aware of proper etiquette for Zoom meetings.
In return, count on your counselor to be prepared, dressed, upright, respectful and give you their undivided attention.
- Set an alarm or reminder and allow yourself plenty of time to prepare
- Check your stumail a few minutes before your appointment for the Zoom link
- Have access to a laptop or other device
- Have a pen and paper handy for notetaking
- Be ready with questions to ask
- Find a quiet space, free from distractions
- Wear appropriate clothing (just as you would if meeting in person)
- Turn on your camera, make sure you’re vertical and check the area behind you
- Be courteous: please don’t eat, primp, drive or operate machinery during your meeting
- Be attentive and focused
- Actively participate in your meeting
- If you have a parent, friend or pet joining us, please let your counselor know up front
